Haven't blogged in a few days. So here we go.

Saturday was spent working on the school again. Had a fun time moving a wall to another location. This coming Saturday will be spent doing some more of the same. Don't know if I will do it because Philip has a baseball jamboree thing going on.

Last night was Confirmation for 18 teens from Moscow and Potlatch. It was a real neat Mass and the Bishop did a great job.

Holy Spirit, Calm me, Help me, Keep me.

Interesting

Very interesting day today. Not only did it snow again at noon it snowed a little in the evening.

Watched Philip's class use the climbing walls at the Student Rec Center. They sure had fun going up the walls. Nothing like 16-17 3rd graders running around.

I did not ride my bike today. I am going to do that tomorrow.

I am really looking forward to Friday evening when the Silver and Gold game will be played.

Today

Where was I today?
Didn't feel like I was anywhere today.
Sarcastic, yet happy.
Angry about something but glad to be anywhere.
Dejected, but needed.
Hungry for something that could not be found.
Clawing to get above the junk.
Today was weird.

Busy Day

What a busy day.

Started out working at St. Mary's grade school from 7:00am until 10:30am. After getting done there I went over to help out with cleanup at St. Auggies church. Got there near the end so there was not much left to do. Got home and napped for about an hour. Then did some clean up around the house and cleaned out the gutters.

Morning

Was thinking this morning as I was walking back to work from the Rec Center that this is going to be a beautiful day. Then I got to thinking all days are beautiful depending on your perspective. I have really enjoyed the days where it has snowed even though it is Spring.


Changing the weather is not my job and I really would not want to be in charge of it. Don't think it would be a fun time listening to all the complaints.

Patience

Thanks to you for giving it to me.
Thanks to my kids for testing it.
Thanks to Spouse for believing that I still have it.
Thanks for giving me the chance to use it everyday.

Patience is a wonderful gift.

Scream the Prayer Tour

In July there will be quite the concert in Spokane on July 24th starting at 2:00. There are 10 bands going to be coming in:
Sleeping Giant, MyChildren MyBride, Impending Doom, War of Ages, Before Their Eyes, Blessed by a Broken Heart, Soul Embraced, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Here I Come Falling, and AGRACEFUL.

This sounds like an Earth Shattering Concert.

Screamo Praise

I am really into Christian Screamo. Have been for the past 5 years. Started listening to Zao and Living Sacrifice and really liked being able to praise God at full voice. Not that I can do what these singers can do. My throat would probably abandon me and try to find someone else to live with.

We all have different ways of praising God.

My kids however think that some of what I listen to is a little out there. They can't see their dad being this hip. HAHA!

Praise God for the love he shows no matter what we do.

Test of the heart

Today was a test.
In it there was conflict.

Why?
Human pride and selfishness, make it difficult.
My Lord and God help me through these times.

Over and over we take for granted.

Friday night

What if I stumble, walking through the grass.
Rosary in my pocket, help me Jesus.
Rain falls to cleanse the air, foul stench in the air.

When at mass we see, not only see but believe.
Jesus is present to help, clearing out the stench.

Friday

Today is payday. Going to be a nice day today. Relay for Life is tonight. Monica is going to be there all night. Just another busy weekend. Philip is having baseball practice on Saturday and I will be doing more work at the school. Hopefully nothing major happens that day.
